It’s been a few months since I’ve shared a blog post, so I wanted to offer a few key updates on my latest content that you don’t want to miss!
1. I have finally gotten a YouTube channel up and going! I resisted it for a long time, but I’ve finally taken the plunge and have posted video versions of my last few podcasts there as a starting point. If you use YouTube, please take 10 seconds and go subscribe!
2. I’m also posting regularly now on Instagram and X. Facebook has been my social media home for many years now (and I’ll continue to be active there), but I realize a lot of people are more active on Instagram and/or X these days, so I’ve added those platforms to where I’m sharing. If you’re on Instagram or X, please go follow me there!
3. In case you missed it when it came out last year, my new book When Culture Hates You: Persevering for the Common Good as Christians in a Hostile Public Square continues to be an extremely timely read. Ironically, when it came out just after the presidential election, a lot of people seemed to think that the culture was heading in a more conservative direction and therefore Christians aren’t really hated that much. But that’s a fundamental misunderstanding of what Jesus taught about Christians and the ongoing hostility of the non-believing world. The news cycle has given us plenty of examples recently exhibiting that hostility, so people are starting to wonder again if maybe, just maybe, the culture really does hate Christians. The answer is yes, and Jesus told us as much. That’s not dependent on the news cycle, but the news cycle does drive people’s perception, which is why I’m bringing the book to your attention again. 🙂 It’s critically important to understand what Jesus told us about the relationship between the world and Christians and how that applies to our role in advocating for righteousness in spite of the hostility. When Culture Hates You will equip you with what you need to know.
4. While I do plan to continue writing occasional articles here on the blog, most of the content I’m now producing is on my podcast, The Natasha Crain Podcast. Thank you to everyone who has been listening…I’m blown away that the show has over 1.2 million plays on Apple podcasts alone! If you haven’t subscribed and started listening, this is a great time to do so because I’ll be producing more podcast episodes this year than ever before. In case you missed them, here’s an overview of the last four episodes:
Christian AI vs. Secular AI: Why Worldviews Matter in Technology, with Brandon Maddick
AI isn’t worldview neutral—and that should deeply concern Christians. In this episode, I talk with Brandon Maddick, co-founder of Dominion, a Christian AI platform created as a biblical alternative to tools like ChatGPT, to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping the way we think. We talk about the secular assumptions built into mainstream AI models, why those assumptions matter as people increasingly turn to AI for guidance and productivity, and how Dominion was intentionally designed to operate from a biblical worldview. Christians need to think carefully about the worldview embedded in the tools we use…because when we ask AI for answers, we should be asking who (or what) is discipling us.
How Does God Use Suffering for Our Good? with Clay and Jean E. Jones
Most Christians know the Bible teaches that “for those who love God all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28), but in times of suffering, it can be difficult to reconcile that truth with our experiences. My guests in this episode are best-selling authors Clay and Jean E. Jones. They’ve written an insightful and very practical new book to help believers do exactly that: How Does God Use Suffering for Our Good?: Living with Hope While Making Sense of Life. Clay and Jean E. have experienced much suffering in their own lives and share very personally how they have lived out biblical truths about suffering in a God-glorifying way.
Transgender Atheist to Detransitioning Christian: Tyger’s Story
At the beginning of September, a woman in her 60s named Tyger commented on my ministry’s Facebook page. She introduced herself in the comments section as being a transgender atheist and offered some tips on how she thought Christians could best reach trans-identifying people. She continued to comment over the next couple of weeks on various posts. By the end of September, she shared that she had given her life to Jesus at a Charlie Kirk vigil and would be detransitioning. I subsequently got to know Tyger over email, and in today’s episode, we have an in-depth conversation in which she shares her life story of what it’s like to struggle with your biological sex. It’s a fascinating first-hand account that I hope will give you more insight into the challenges people face and why it’s so important for Christians to remain firmly rooted in truth.

How to Get FILTH Out of Your Public School Library, with Karen England
How did sexually explicit books make their way into public school libraries — and why are some organizations fighting so hard to keep them there? In this eye-opening conversation, I sit down with Karen England, founder of TakeBackTheClassroom.com, to unpack what’s really happening and what YOU can do to get filth out of your local public school libraries.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading!
